Marcus was homebred in August 1991.  He was born 12 weeks before we lost his father Charlie.  He is the image of his father, and for this reason we felt that we had to keep him.

At nine months of age Marcus won B.P.I.S. and B I S at a local dog show.  The prize was a photo session with Lord Patrick Lichfield at Shugborough Hall . Lord Lichfield took 31 photographs in all.

Although he was only shown lightly, he did gain a Stud Book number at the age of 22 months.
